To ensure we built our company on a sound foundation, it was vitally important we find only the best to put behind our young brand.  With so many available options in the industry, we vetted and selected several partners whose manufacturers possess proven high standards… manufacturers who in turn, had some of the best growers and formulators who are able to produce some of the highest quality hemp-derived phytocannabinoids in the U.S.  

This collaboration made it possible for  Energe’ Botanicals to develop the  i n t e n s e™ line of specially formulated products with ingredients that have been meticulously sourced, manufactured by the best, and lab tested for efficacy. 

It was not going to be good enough to be just another product in someone’s on-line shopping cart or retail shelf. That said, we strive to bring our clients the best products we can because their needs require us to be just that much better!

So, where did we begin? 

Step 1:  It Starts with Superior Farming

Energe’ Botanicals insisted on only partnering with manufacturers whose growers are in the United States.  One of our top team of manufacturers starts with proprietary strains of hemp that are high in CBD.  All of the hemp used is grown in nutrient-rich soil to ensure only the finest quality CBD was being formulated into our products.

Their farmers operate under strict guidelines while using state-of-the-art farming processes. Not only does this enhance the quality of the natural proprietary strains, bit is also ensures our products are safe, regulated and unsurpassed in potency and consistency.

These farming processes include innovative water-saving practices.  They also implement the “sea of green” approach, meaning that they grow hemp plants that mature quickly in higher density.  This help to avoid herbicide use.  They plant the hemp in a way that encourages naturals predators as to avoid pesticide use as well.

Step 2:  Raw Hemp Processing

The plants used are dried and warehoused after they are harvested.  When a plant is needed for production, it is milled into a coarse powder.  The milling process adheres to the highest standards in the industry.  Once processed, it will then be shipped to the processing and manufacturing facility.

Step 3: Proprietary Extraction

Their facility is cGMP compliant.  This means they follow the highest standards for the  manufacturing off all our products.

They use a proprietary hemp extraction and purification process that involves supercritical C02, a commonly used method of extraction.  This makes sure that many of the help’s beneficial phytocannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids are preserved in the process. 

Once extracted, undesirable plant solids like waxes and chlorophyll are removed from the oil.  This results in the highest quality broad spectrum help oil available.  It has been found that  broad spectrum products lead to multiplying benefits called the “entourage effect.”

Step 4:  Separation

Before further refinement, the hemp extract is separated from the supercritical C02 used in the extraction process.  Once this step is completed, the C02 is recycled and used again in the distillation process.

Step 5: THC Removal and Refining    

One of the most important steps in the process is to extract even the most minute traces of THC.   THC is the compound found in cannabis that produces the “high” associated with the plant.  Because THC is not necessary for the efficacy of our products, we of course want to remove the THC.

Proprietary technology is used to remove unwanted compounds including was, chlorophyll, plant pigments and trace amounts of THC.  It is then “washed” and “polished.”

Step 6:  Third-Party Lab Testing

Before a batch is released, it goes through rigorous third-party lab testing.  Every batch receives  comprehensive testing to ensure each product contains the amount of CBD listed on the label.

Step 7:  Proprietary Nanoemulsion Technology

Our CBD Softgels require the oil to go through another processing step.  The raw hemp oil goes through a proprietary process that transform it into nano-sized emulsions.  This makes it the most bioavailable broad-spectrum CBD in the industry and provides for much more effective absorption.

Ultimately, the use of this leading industry technology means you can use less of the product made with these processes to achieve the same level of benefit as the products sold by most of our competitors.
